Tuberculosis (TB) is the second most infectious disease globally, right next to COVID-19. India shares this global burden by 26%, out of which 32% cases fall in the age bracket of 15-29. Because of this, India alone witnesses 1300 TB deaths every day, and despite these numbers, the awareness around this disease is still a big question mark. Now that's definitely a problem which needs a solution.
Now to bring in a solution, a revolution was required, one that's powered by the enthusiasm of our nation's youth. What would be better to ignite this enthusiasm than music, that too a rap.
So we collaborate with the famous youth icon Vaani Kapoor & star rapper Kaam Bhaari to kickstart the #BeTheChangeFor TB campaign. We went live with a rap song on World TB Day, 24th March, 2022 to throw light on the status of TB in India, create
awareness, ask the youth to step forward and start a revolution to help India become TB-Free by 2025
